I'm Stephanie Roman — an arts educator, nonprofit leader, and creative director dedicated to building pathways for artists in communities that have too often been overlooked.

As Founder of Huellas Studios in Arizona, I lead programming that centers Latinx arts and culture and develops the next generation of leaders that is culturally aware. My work lives at the intersection of education, community development, and creative practice — designing learning experiences that help cultural leaders not only make innovative work, but sustain it.

Through strategic planning, curriculum development, and hands-on coaching, I've supported artists in building professional skills, navigating funding landscapes, and stepping into leadership within their communities.

I believe arts education is not supplemental — it is essential infrastructure.

Huellas — the Spanish word for footprints — is where I bring this work into focus. Here I share tools, frameworks, and resources to help artists and arts educators leave lasting marks.
